Right close by is the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort, which is a favorite among families that come here. They have spectacular freshwater pools with waterfalls, grottos, and a 150-foot slide. If the parents want to escape for a little alone time, don’t feel guilty here. They have a great kids camp called Camp Hyatt where children from ages three years old to 12 years old can learn to hula, meet some of the resident parrots and take part in very cool cultural crafts.
